The average yearly number of applications is around 2000.

Interactive map of planning applications
Guidance on using the interactive maps is available by selecting help at the top right-hand corner of the map. Each blue triangle on the map represents an individual planning application or appeal and once selected further details of the case are displayed underneath the map. Additional information is available by selecting the application number which links to our online database of planning applications and appeals.

We are currently working on developing this facility and interactive maps of historic planning applications and appeals will be available during the coming months.
