About the magazine

District Life magazine is published twice yearly (as of June 2010) for residents, businesses and visitors to the Canterbury district. Copies are delivered to every household and business in the CT1 to CT6 postcode areas by Royal Mail in the first or second week of June and December. If you have not received a copy of District Life, please tell us so we can let Royal Mail know.

The magazine contains a mixture of council and community news, events and regular features about the people of the district - it's a quality read with plenty of colour to reflect the rich variety and pattern of life in Canterbury, Herne Bay, Whitstable and the surrounding area.

District Life is written and designed by the council's Communications Unit and printed in Essex by Polestar Group. Part-funded by the council and part-funded by advertising, District Life costs just over 13p per copy to produce and distribute.

Contributing an article or story idea
