As soon as your Council Tax bill is issued the full amount is due to be paid.
However, the legislation that covers the setting and collection of Council Tax gives everyone the right to pay by ten monthly instalments, from April.
Any bills issued or recalculated after then will be payable over the number of monthly instalments left in that financial year, usually ending in February.
