The card is intended for the Residents of Canterbury City Council. So if you live in Canterbury's council tax area, that is anyone (over 18) living in either Canterbury, Herne Bay, Whitstable or the surrounding rural area, you can apply for a card. If you live out of the city council area, we are sorry but you are not eligible to apply to the city council for a card.
