Tenants who have a disability and a doctors note recommending that they have a shower installed will be granted one, free of charge. Showers are not installed as standard because of the increased cost of the shower unit plus the additional wall tiling. However, if the tenant supplies their own shower, the contractor will fit it free of charge. We advise that this is discussed at the time of survey.
