What if the heating goes wrong?

After the heating has been installed it belongs to you. You are covered by the manufacturer's and the installer's guarantee for the first year. If anything goes wrong during this time the Council will get the problem sorted out.

After the first year you are responsible for all repairs, maintenance and servicing.

If you are a tenant, your landlord is responsible for any heating system that was in your home when you moved-in. But if you have a heating system installed through the Keeping Warm in Winter scheme, you will be responsible for it, not your landlord.
