Where Housing Assistance is in the form of a loan guarantee, the Council will enter into relevant legal agreements with all parties at the appropriate time.
When the Council agrees to pay the administration costs of setting up your loan, we will pay the lender at the time you make your formal loan application.
Where the Housing Assistance is in the form of a grant, the Council will normally pay the Housing Assistance direct to the builder either in instalments as work proceeds or in one lump sum following completion of works.
