The licence is valid for 5 years unless otherwise stated.
The basic fee is £330 for a licence which will remain in force for five years from the date of issue.
The following discounts are offered:
1. Prompt Response (where owner applies within 28 days of being notified
that a licence is required) 30%
2. Quantity Discount (for second and subsequent applications, all submitted
at same time by the same landlord) 25%
3. Discount where house and landlord are on record as being fully compliant
already, for example where house is registered already and landlord is a
member of an appropriate scheme. 15%
4. Minor changes to records (e.g. change of address, etc) free
5. variation of licence following significant changes to the property 50%
6. Discount on change of ownership where new owner already holds licences
for other properties 25%
