Why have I gone down band/position since the changes to the housing needs register?

(i) Band -  your banding may have changed because we have carried out a new assessment based on the information you provided on the review form. If you think we have missed something, please let us know.

 

(ii) Position - your position on the register may have changed because

 

a)      other applicants who have had a change in their circumstances may have gone up a band and kept their waiting time

b)      local social tenants also have an increased priority to ensure we have a steady turnover of properties – as they are re-housed their home becomes available for another family on the HNR (2 for 1)

 

 

Remember : not everybody in the same band is waiting for the same size property or area choices
