There is anational organisation that supports allotment gardening, the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners. (NSALG), contact; www.nsalg.org.uk 01732 461 397. The council has started consulting for its allotment strategy, and proposals under consideration are a welcome pack and demonstration plots.
