Transport Management

Traffic management proposals need to be planned to ensure safe and convenient site access and to minimise off-site traffic disruption.

Consideration should be given to the following points:

• Temporary road closures
• Signage & barriers
• Traffic marshalling
• Public transport
• Vehicle parking and management
• Pedestrians
• On-site vehicle management and temporary roadways
• Lift trucks and other vehicles

TV and media

Music events may attract a wide range of media coverage, dependant on the size, location and type of event. You should consider making provisions for coverage in your pre-event planning stage, and may wish to consider:

• On-site structural considerations
• On-site public relations staffing requirements
• Access to Utilities
