Canterbury's Park and Ride

Park and Ride is the greenest, cheapest and fastest way for car drivers and their passengers to get to Canterbury city centre.
There are three Park and Ride sites, at Wincheap, New Dover Road and Sturry Road, so letting the bus take the strain is the most sensible option for almost any trip into the city. The buses stop at a number of intermediate stops between the car parks and the city centre.
For just £2.50 per car, a driver and up to six passengers can park in a purpose built car park and board one of our smart "kneeling" low floor buses - with space and restraint facilities for wheelchairs and prams,to enjoy unlimited journeys across each route. The payment system gives change, so it really is easy to Park and Ride
Regular Users can also get a great discount by purchasing a Park and Ride Card
All our sites are protected by CCTV cameras, and most have drink dispensers, information stands, toilets, baby changing facilities and a heated waiting room for your comfort.
Normal services
- Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7:30pm (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day)
- Buses run approximately every 8 minutes with a slightly reduced service after 7pm.
Please note that the entry barriers will lock one hour after the last bus leaves but the exit barriers will still operate provided that you have a validated ticket
STOP PRESS: From Monday 1st August, the 7am, 7:20 and 7:40 buses will stop at the Hospital on the way into the City to allow Hospital staff and visitors to use the service.
