District Life magazine is published twice a year for residents, businesses and visitors to the Canterbury district. Copies are delivered to every household and business in the CT1 to CT6 postcode areas by Royal Mail in the first or second week of June and December. If you have not received a copy of District Life, please tell us so we can let Royal Mail know.
About the magazine
The magazine contains a mixture of council and community news, events and regular features about the people of the district - it's a quality read with plenty of colour to reflect the rich variety and pattern of life in Canterbury, Herne Bay, Whitstable and the surrounding area.
District Life is written and designed by the council's Communications Unit. Part-funded by the council and part-funded by advertising, District Life costs around 5p per copy to produce and distribute.
Contributing an article or story idea
Although District Life is written by the council, the team also relies on information from residents, business and groups to let us know what's going on. If you have an idea for a story, please contact the editor, Rob Davies on 01227 862 050.
District Life is distributed to around 70,000 households and businesses in the Canterbury district. With an estimated readership of 168,000 people (based on 2.4 readers per copy in 2016), District Life is one of the most cost-effective methods of getting your message across.
