Helping in your community

Sign up to volunteer your help
Many vulnerable residents may need extra help at the moment. We are asking for you to join us in supporting these vulnerable groups.
This may be volunteering to help with shopping or collecting regular prescriptions. Or it could be volunteering from your home, such as a friendly phone call to keep them in touch with the outside world.
Volunteers must be 18 or over, and fit and well with no symptoms. Those in higher-risk groups (including those over 70, those who are pregnant or with underlying medical conditions) will only be able to offer phone support. People living with those in higher-risk groups will also only be able to offer phone support
Your safety is our priority. You can help with most things while still following social distancing advice. All volunteers will receive guidance from our staff. If you do become ill you must tell us straight away so that someone else can take over in the meantime.
If you have signed up to volunteer with other organisations, for example the NHS, we're still keen to hear from you. If you are able to help, please sign up now.
Not for profit organisations offering support
So we can understand what help is available locally, we are asking not for profit organisations to give us information on the services you are providing.
