Bin collections in the hot weather
From now until the end of July, our crews will be going out earlier than normal to collect your bins. Please make sure they are out by 6am on your collection day.
Benefit cap
There is a limit to the amount of benefits you can get - known as a benefit cap.
The benefit cap applies if you get Universal Credit, or if you get housing benefit and your claim is based on working age rules.
The benefit caps are:
- £423.46 a week for couples or single parents with children
- £283.71 a week for single people
The cap applies to the total amount you, your partner and any children living with you get in benefits.
