Disabled parking

Blue badge parking scheme

The Blue Badge scheme allows you to park free for up to three hours in most of our car park spaces if you're disabled. This does not include:

  • Permit bays
  • Spaces in Castle Street, Pound Lane, William Street, and Middle Wall car parks
  • The three Park and Ride sites

You also get exclusive access to reserved Blue Badge spaces.

If you don't already have one you can apply for a blue badge from Kent County Council.

Automatic Number Plate Registration (ANPR) car parks

Three hours of free parking will soon be available in our new camera and barrier-controlled car parks, with the exception of park and ride.

When it's available you'll simply need to register your blue badge against your online account.

Customers who have an account for our four trial ticketless car parks - Pound Lane, Castle Street, William Street and Middle Wall - will still need to pay in those car parks until they are switched over to the new scheme.

You can find out more by visiting our Newsroom.

If you register to receive alerts about parking, we'll let you know when you can add your badge to your parking account.
