Confirm your details on the electoral register

If you haven't confirmed your details on the electoral register, you will get a reminder letter soon. You may also get a canvasser calling at your door, asking you to complete it.

Every year, we use these forms to check our records and find out who is not currently registered to vote (known as an annual canvass). It's not a registration form but you do need to complete it.

If your details haven't changed, you can also let us know by calling 0800 197 9871, or texting NOCHANGE followed by your individual security code to 80212. Standard network charges apply.

If nobody in your household is eligible to vote please include a reason for this after entering your security code - for example, empty property, business or second home.

Alternatively, you can complete the hard copy form and post it back in the envelope provided.

Register to vote

It only takes five minutes to register to vote online. All you need is your National Insurance (NI) number and date of birth.

If you don't register when asked to by the Electoral Registration Officer, you could be fined. Find out more at Your Vote Matters.
