Loyalty schemes are changing
We're making changes to the Residents Card, Whit Card and Bay Card schemes. These have proved popular amongst residents and local businesses for many years and the time has come to develop the offer by embracing the new technologies that are now available, allowing us to reach and benefit more people.
As a result we've been working with Canterbury City Partnership and Canterbury-based marketing company ‘Think Agency’ to develop the new MyCanterbury, MyWhitstable and MyHerneBay schemes.

Each scheme will be driven by a free to join website and a free App. For users without online access or smart phones a plastic card can also be made available for a small fee.
From mid-December, members will be able to access offers for residents, students and visitors, special daily deals, offers on where to stay, places to visit and what to do for individuals and families. There will also be local news from Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay updating you on all the essential daily goings-on in the area.
What do I need to know?
- Canterbury City Council is no longer accepting applications for old Residents Cards.
- Residents should now register for the new scheme at www.mytownmycity.co.uk
- Plastic cards can be made available for a small fee.

Old cards will remain valid until the end of March 2014
