Station Road West works - From Mon 23 Feb until Tues 31 Mar, some on-street parking bays will be suspended. St Dunstan's zone permit holders may park in Station Road West car park during this time.

Park and Ride

Park and Ride is the easiest way to get around Canterbury. There are three Park and Ride sites located around the city, with regular bus services to the city centre.


  • New Dover Road - CT1 3EJ
  • Sturry Road - CT1 1AD
  • Wincheap, Ten Perch Road - CT1 3TY

Park and Ride routes

Monday - Saturday Buses run approximately every eight minutes:
  • New Dover Road route - 7am to 7.30pm*
  • Sturry Road route - 7am to 6pm**
  • Wincheap route - 7am to 7.30pm
Sunday Buses run approximately every 15 minutes:
  • New Dover Road route - 10am to 6pm*
  • Sturry Road route - 10am to 6pm**
  • Wincheap route does not run

*After 7.30pm until 11.30pm customers can catch Stagecoach buses 15, 16 and 17.

**After 6pm until 11.15pm customers can catch Stagecoach Triangle service buses 6 and 6a which will stop in the Park and Ride site, or the 8 and 8A which will stop opposite the site.

Entry barriers to the car park are locked at 8.30pm. You can exit with a valid ticket at any time. Please note your ticket is valid for 24 hours from the time you enter the site, and the maximum stay at all sites is 48 hours.


Park and Ride costs £3 per day for a car and up to six people. This allows you to travel across the city on all three Park and Ride routes. 

We also have a hospital shuttle service.

The Park and Ride season card entitles you to 20% off each trip.

Other vehicles

We welcome motorcycles at all three Park and Ride sites.

Motorhomes can also park for up to 48 hours at our New Dover Road site.
