Times

Monday - Saturday Buses run approximately every eight minutes:
  • New Dover Road route - 7am to 7.30pm*
  • Sturry Road route - 7am to 6pm**
  • Wincheap route - 7am to 7.30pm
Sunday Buses run approximately every 15 minutes:
  • New Dover Road route - 10am to 6pm*
  • Sturry Road route - 10am to 6pm**
  • Wincheap route does not run

*After 7.30pm until 11.30pm customers can catch Stagecoach buses 15, 16 and 17.

**After 6pm until 11.15pm customers can catch Stagecoach Triangle service bus 6a which will stop in the Park and Ride site.

Entry barriers to the car park are locked at 8.30pm. You can exit with a valid ticket at any time. Please note your ticket is valid for 24 hours from the time you enter the site, and the maximum stay at all sites is 48 hours.

Prices

Park and Ride costs £3 per day for a car and up to six people where the arrival time is before 4pm.  If you arrive to park after 4pm, you will only need to pay £1 to stay until midnight.

Your Park and Ride ticket allows you to travel across the city on all three Park and Ride routes. We currently accept coins and notes only.

The Park and Ride season card entitles you to 20% off each day and can be used at all three Park and Ride sites and for all routes. On application, your card will be posted out to you within seven days.

You can top up your card at the Park and Ride sites or in the Military Road offices.

Other vehicles

We welcome motorcycles at all three Park and Ride sites.

Motorhomes can also park for up to 48 hours at our New Dover Road site.

Electric vehicles: We have two EV charging bays at each site that are free to use for drivers registered through PolarPlus+ or PolarInstant when using our Park & Ride service.
