A notice must be completed and served to all owners of the application site.
If you are submitting a household application in England you need to use the Household Development Notice.
For all other applications, Notice 1 is to be printed and served to owners if Certificate B or C is completed.
Where the owner is unknown the Notice to Unknown Owners, Notice 2, is for publication in a local newspaper if Certificate C or D is completed.
A copy of the notice must also be sent with the application to the local authority.

|Householder Planning permission and conservation area consent (excluding works to flats)||Application for alteration or extension to a dwelling plus the total or substantial demolition of an unlisted building in a conservation area over 115 cubic metres in volume|
|Householder planning permission with listed building consent (excluding works to flats||Application for alteration, extension or demolition of a dwelling which is a listed building|
|Full Planning Permission||Application for all new buildings and the change of use, conversion extension and alteration of existing buildings, including flats or land. Please do not use this form for householder planning permission|
|Full Planning Permission with listed building consent||Application requiring full planning permission which involves change of use (including alterations), conversion, extension and alteration of a listed building|
|Full Planning permission with advertisement consent||Application requiring full planning permission which includes illuminated advertisement signs such as fascia signs, projecting signs, advertisement hoardings and canopies attached to a shopfront that contain an advertisement|
|Full Planning permission with demolition within a conservation area||Application requiring full planning permission which involves the total or substantial demolition of an unlisted building in a conservation area over 115 cubic metres in volume|
|Outline application forms|
|Outline Application with some reserved matters||Application in respect of redevelopment of sites outside a conservation are where a developer seeks to establish the principle of development, such as land use, access, siting, scale and massing|
|Outline Application with all matters reserved||Application in respect of redevelopment of sites outside a conservation are where a developer seeks to establish the principle of development, such as land use, access, siting, scale and massing|
|Application for reserved matters||Following the grant of outline consent, the applicant has to apply for reserved matters approval for the detailed design of the scheme; these can include access arrangements, external appearance and landscaping|
|Advertisement consent||Application for illuminated advertisements; signs such as fascia signs, projecting signs, advertisement hoardings and canopies attached to a shopfront that contain an advertisement. If the building is listed, listed building consent will also be required for the proposed advertisement (whether illuminated or not)|
|Listed Building consent to alter, extend to demolish||Listed Building consent is required for any works to the interior or exterior of a listed building which will affect its special interest. When in doubt please check with the Council|
|Conservation area consent for demolition||Required for the total or substantial demolition of an unlisted building in a conservation area over 115 cubic metres in volume||Form|
|Telecommunications application||Application for any telecommunications development, including radio masts and towers, antennas of all kinds, radio equipment housing, public call boxes, cabinets, poles and overhead wires||Form|
|Tree works covered by a TPO||Application for any proposed works to trees subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO)|
|Variation or removal of condition||Application for the removal or variation of a condition following the grant of planning permission or listed building consent||Form|
