How can I report an abandoned vehicle?

If you think a vehicle has been abandoned you can easily report it to us online. If it’s an emergency - such as spilt petrol or live wires - you should report it to the police on 101.

Why have you not removed an abandoned vehicle I reported?

Sometimes we might not be able to remove a vehicle. This could be because it’s been abandoned for less than a month or it’s not actually abandoned.

Call the environmental health team on 01227 862 202 . Our phone lines are open between 8.45am to 5pm, during the week (excluding public holidays), and closed at weekends.

Visit the council

The council offices are open daily between 10am and 2pm. You'll need to call 01227 862 000 to book to see someone during these times.
