Appeal your business rates bill
If your business property is newly built or almost complete you'll be given a completion notice letting you know the date you need to start paying rates.
If you think the building won't be complete by this date, you can appeal to the Valuation Tribunal Service. You'll need to do this within four weeks of the notice being given.
If you think the valuation details held on your business property are wrong you can challenge it.
