Before you submit your application online you might want to think about using our pre-planning application advice service to find out if your project is likely to be granted planning permission.
We will review your application, provide advice on how you could improve it and let you know what our response is likely to be.
Once you're happy with everything then you can submit your application on the Planning Portal website. You can use their fee calculator to see how much you'll need to pay before you start.
Some specialist applications can't be made online. For these you can download paper copies of the planning application form.
