Register for a watercraft membership

If you want to launch a watercraft - such as a jet ski, power boat or a sailing boat - from any of the council slipways, you'll need to be registered with us as a member.

There are barriers at the ramps, and you won't be able to access them without registering first.

How membership works

You'll pay a fee per watercraft, per year.  Membership for this year will run from 1 April 2021 until 31 March 2022.

You can register up to five people (including yourself) to be able to use your watercraft, and they must be at least 12 years old.

Each person registered will need a colour passport size photo. The watercraft owner will also need to have insurance, with minimum £3 million third party liability.
