Where to take it
Batteries (excluding car batteries) can be recycled at most supermarkets and major electrical shops. Find your nearest battery recycle point.
Car batteries can't be recycled so must always be taken to your nearest waste or recycling centre.
Vapes (disposable or rechargeable) can be taken to your nearest waste or recycling centre. You could also try a vape shop as they often have dedicated bins.
Important information
You must not put any batteries or vapes in your bin. They can explode and start a fire if they get crushed in the bin lorry.
