There are three working cemeteries in the district.
Canterbury City Cemetery

You can access the cemetery on foot from both the front and rear entrances - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You cannot drive into the cemetery from the front entrance. There is parking at the rear off Cherry Drive, the gates are open from 8.30am and locked at 4.30pm in winter months and 7.30pm in summer months.
