Your business' journey to net zero

See what your business can do to reduce its carbon footprint.

There are simple steps your business can take to help meet the UK target of net zero by 2050.

Carry out a carbon audit

A carbon audit allows you to understand how your business energy use and costs, so that you can identify ways to be more energy efficient and reduce carbon emissions.

The Department of Energy and Climate Change have produced a guide to energy efficiency for small and medium sized businesses. It has a number of steps you can do to reduce your emissions and save energy.

Take carbon literacy training

Carbon literacy is an awareness of the impact of the everyday activities your business has on the environment.

The Carbon Literacy Project run courses for organisations, schools and individuals.

Get involved in the business community

Canterbury Climate Action Partnership (CCAP)

CCAP is a partnership between several local organisations and groups set up to take action towards sustainability and net zero by 2030.
