If you think that being on the electoral register could put your safety at risk, you might be able to register anonymously. You can do this easily online.

Yes. You will need a local connection, such as somewhere you have lived before. You can contact our elections team online.

Yes, as long as your home address is not also in our district.

How can I apply for a postal vote?

You can easily apply online for a postal vote. Your postal vote will be sent to you around 10 days before an election.

If you can’t vote in person you can apply online for a proxy vote. Your proxy must be registered to vote themselves.

If you want to remove your details you can contact our elections team online. It won’t affect your right to vote.
