Pay a fixed penalty notice (FPN)

A fixed penalty notice (FPN) is a fine for offences like:

  • anti-social behaviour
  • littering
  • abandoning a vehicle
  • nuisance parking

You must pay your fine within 14 days of receiving it. There is no option to pay by instalments.

If you do not pay your fine within 14 days we may take you to court and you could pay up to £5,000.

We are upgrading our FPN payment system. This means there is a temporary change to how you pay your fine depending on the number on the notice that has been issued.

If your FPN has number starting with FP7

Pay your fine on the new system

If your FPN starts with any other number

Pay your fine here

Please note you can't appeal a fixed penalty notice, but if you have mitigating circumstances you think we should be aware of you should contact our Enforcement team.
