Bin collections in the hot weather
This week (beginning Monday 22 June) our crews will be going out earlier than normal to collect your bins. Please make sure they are out by 6am on your collection day.
We inspect and monitor food businesses and give them a national food hygiene rating.
Find the food hygiene rating of all restaurants, pubs, cafes, takeaways, and other places you eat.
Check food hygiene ratings in the district
If you've had a food hygiene rating and are not happy with the result, there are a number of things you can do.
If you think our decision is wrong you can submit an appeal.
You must do this within 21 days of getting the rating letter (including weekends and bank holidays).
A right to reply form lets you tell customers about any circumstances at the time of inspection that might have affected your rating.
You can also tell them about any actions you have taken to improve it:
If you've made improvements that we recommended, you can request a rescore of your business before your next planned inspection.
This will cost £207.38 and will be done within three months of your request.
