Council house planned maintenance programme
We make improvements to some council houses every year under our planned maintenance programme.
We want to make sure you get the best homes and services from us.
Every year we reinvest the rent money we collect to repair, maintain, and improve homes - including fitting new modern kitchens and bathrooms.
How it works
Certain streets are chosen each year for planned maintenance.
If work is identified to be carried out on your home you'll get a letter from us with a date to measure up and carry out other pre-work checks.
The work will then be scheduled and you will be told the timescales directly by the contractor.
Normal timescales for a new bathroom are around one week, and for a kitchen around 15 working days. Other work timescales change depending on what is needed.
