Grass cutting and weed maintenance
View the times we carry out grass cuttings in the area and the types of land for each.
Grass cutting dates

| Ornamental grass (parks and gardens) | Approximately every five working days between March and October |
| Amenity grass, open spaces and communal gardens in council housing areas |
Approximately every 10 working days between March and October. Use the grounds maintenance map to see which day and week the grass is cut. |
| Urban grass areas in council owned car parks | Approximately every 20 working days between March and October |
| Meadow grass areas (country parks, open spaces) | Four times a year |
| Wildflower grasslands or areas designated as conservation | Once a year |
Weeds on hard surfaces
Weeds in parks, gardens and council housing areas are treated by us as and when they need to be. Public highways are maintained by Kent County Council.
