Apply for a skin piercing and treatment licence
If you want to carry out tattooing or skin treatments you must have a licence.
Activities covered by the licence include:
- tattooing and semi-permanent skin colouring
- cosmetic skin piercing
- acupuncture
- electrolysis
We'll inspect your business to make sure health and safety standards are met before issuing a licence.
