We have two weatherproof cycle shelters that you can use for free. Each shelter has space for 12 bikes and has night time LED lighting:
- North Lane car park
- Junction of St Peter's Street and St Peter's Place
Bicycle lockers
We have a cycle shelter in Watling Street car park fitted with lockers that you can use for free to store your bike. The shelter has space for 16 bikes, but none are free at the moment.
The lockers are to encourage more trips by bike in and around the city instead of by car, helping to reduce traffic congestion.
They are free to use but you need to pay a refundable deposit of £25 for the key. This is to cover the cost of fitting a new lock in case you do not return the key to us. The money will be taken before we give the key to you.
Once the deposit has been paid the key will be sent to the address you gave us and you'll be able to access your locker.
