- Nomination papers must be hand delivered to the Returning Officer, Council Offices, 14 Rose Lane, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2UR on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Friday 17 October 2025.
- Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Council Offices, 14 Rose Lane, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2UR, during the times stated above.
- If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 13 November 2025.
- Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 28 October 2025. Applications to register to vote can be made online at https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
- Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Council Offices, 14 Rose Lane, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2UR by 5pm on Wednesday 29 October 2025. Applications for a postal vote can be made online at https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote.
- Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 5 November 2025. Applications can be made online at https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate.
- New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Council Offices, 14 Rose Lane, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2UR by 5pm on Wednesday 5 November 2025. Applications for a proxy can be made online at https://www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote.
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Council Offices, 14 Rose Lane, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2UR by 5pm on Thursday 13 November 2025.
