How can I apply for council housing?
When are new properties available?
New properties are added to the list every Wednesday and are available to bid on for at least five days.
How do I bid for a property?
You can ask us to set up auto bidding for you so you don’t have to do anything - bids will be made on eligible properties for you. You can also choose to make your own bids - just log in to your account and follow the simple instructions.
What happens if I'm on the shortlist for a property?
The landlord will carry out some further checks and then if you’re the person at the top of the list, they’ll invite you to view it. This counts as a formal offer and if you refuse the viewing it will go to the next person on the list.
