Hackney carriage tariffs
All fares and charges for hackney carriage taxis.
Mileage tariffs

| Tariff 1 (i) - any journey up to 220 yards (201m) | £4 |
| Tariff 1 (ii) - each additional 98 yards (89.61m) | 10p |
| Tariff 2 - for journeys between 11pm and 7am Monday to Friday, and from 11pm Saturday until 7am Monday, as well as journeys between 6pm and 11pm on Christmas Eve and 6pm until 11pm on New Year's Eve, as well as all official bank holidays | Tariff 1 plus 50% (minimum fare £6) |
| Tariff 3 - for journeys between 11pm on Christmas Eve until 7am on 27 December, and from 11pm on New Year's Eve until 7am on 2 January | Tariff 1 plus 100% (minimum fare £8) |
Extra charges
These apply to all three tariffs.

It is an offence for the proprietor or driver of a hackney carriage to demand or take a fare greater than that as authorised above.
