UK parliamentary general election Thursday 4 July 2024

It's too late to register to vote in the UK parliamentary general election.

You can also no longer apply for a postal vote.

Apply for a proxy vote

If you want to nominate someone to vote on your behalf because you cannot do it in person, you need to apply for a proxy vote by 5pm on Wednesday 26 June. 

Make sure you have photo ID to vote

You must bring photo ID to the polling station - see accepted forms of photo ID. If you do not have any photo ID you must apply for a Voter Authority Certificate by 5pm on Wednesday 26 June.
