A by-election is to be held for one city councillor for the Wincheap ward on Thursday 13 November 2025.

Nomination papers must be hand delivered to the Returning Officer, Council Offices, 14 Rose Lane, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2UR on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Friday, 17 October 2025.
Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Council Offices, 14 Rose Lane, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2UR, during the times stated above.
If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 13 November 2025.
